Kelley Hirst, Bio

Kelley has been a fixture in the Winnipeg Theater and Film communities for 35 years. With a Bachelors degree in Theater from the University of Winnipeg, she has appeared in many local indie films and stage productions, including several fringe plays. She appeared in the 2019 Winnipeg fringe festival in the children's musical “Beauty and the Lonely Beast”. Also, watch for her in a leading role in the upcoming film Cranks.

Kelley has recently expanded her repertoire to include writing, directing and producing. In 2019 she wrote and produced short films “Instant Karma”(2019) and 14 Days in Hell (2020), The Girlfriend (2021) Menopause (2023) for the Winnipeg Film Group 48 Hour Film Challenge. She also wrote and produced a short film called “3rd Date” which is a political satire dressed up as a rom-com about what would happen if the government started regulating men's sexual decisions. Most recently she has made her mark in several productions and TV shows including Winner, Skymed and several Hallmarks.

She currently works as an Acting Teacher at Onalee Ames Film Studio
