FAQ

1)  Will I be paid for this?

Yes! You will be paid hourly. If you are non union, the rate is $15.30 an hour. This rate is set by ACTRA Manitoba. After 8 hours you will make overtime pay.

2)  What should I bring?

A background performer’s biggest asset is their wardrobe. Please bring two alternate outfits to wear. You will get costume notes to tell you colors and what kind of clothes to wear and bring. Also, please bring a pen, photo ID, and a proof of residency. (drivers license, Manitoba Health card,  term lease agreement, copy of last tax return, bank statement)

3) What time do I start?

You will receive a call time the night before the working day. It will also give you your location. ( There is no appointed parking for BG. You must find your own parking. If you live in the city , sometimes it is easier to take a bus)

4) Can I leave the set for an appointment and come back?

No you can not. You must be available for the full  day.
